Interested in Volunteering with EF?

As a volunteer organization, Equality Fairfax can only be as effective if we have the support of the community to help get the word out and to be a visible presence in Fairfax County.

Every time you come out to someone you are helping not only Equality Fairfax but the entire LGBT community. Each time someone comes out it makes it a little easier for the next person.

Still, there remains a lot of work to do before we have achieved real equality.

If you have any time you can devote to EF, we would be happy accept your help. If you have skills in organizing events, graphic design, photography, writing, computers we can use your help. If you don't see something you can do on that list, don't despair!

We can use all sorts of less technical help from being a greeter at an EF event to helping with event set up and cleanup.

The great thing about volunteer organizations is the ability to be flexible so if you have ideas or can help in any way, please let us know!
