Join Primetimers of DC Saturday, May 16th, 2009, for a trip to Longwood Gardens. The day includes lunch at the Longwood Garden Cafe, a guided tour of Longwood, Happy Hour at: Quest Sports Bar in Baltimore, and Dinner at Eastern House Restaurant. 

10:00 AM: Leave Forest Glen, Red Line, Metro Station (free parking). 9730 Georgia Avenue, Forest Glen, MD 20910.

12:30 AM: Arrive at Longwood, and enjoy a “Dutch” lunch at The Garden Café.

2:30 PM: Guided tour 

4:00 PM: Leave Longwood

5:30 PM: Happy Hour at: Quest Sports Bar in Baltimore with Baltimore Prime Timer’s Club (Quest attracts locals away from the gayborhood by offering great Happy Hour specials from 4pm to 8pm, top shelf high balls $3.50. . Music is provided by a jukebox with a huge selection of songs, there are games to be played.)

6:30 PM Dinner at Eastern House Restaurant (salad, beverage, choice of one of four entree’s & dessert) www.easternhouserestaurant.com.

8:00 pm Leave Baltimore

9:15 pm (ish) arrive at Forest Glenn Metro Station

Tickets must be purchased in advance, price: $65.00 includes: Deluxe motor coach transportation, Garden’s admission fee, one complimentary Happy Hour beverage and Dinner. No tickets sold on the 16th.
