Equality Fairfax is happy to partner with George Mason University's Pride Alliance to promote GMU's first annual production of "The Laramie Project", a play that tells the story of Matthew Shepard, a young man who was beaten, pistol-whipped, and left for dead -- for one reason: he was gay. The show examines anti-hate speech, actions, and thoughts towards US minorities (particularly those of the LGBTQ community).

Happy Hour with Dulles Triangles - March 15

Equality Fairfax has accepted an invitation to join The Dulles Triangles for their weekly happy hour at the Sheraton in Reston on Thursday, March 15th. Come meet some new people and relax and enjoy some good conversation.

Every Thursday night the Dulles Triangles meet at the Sheraton in Reston at the Cosmopolitan Lounge on the second floor around 7pm until about 9pm. Ask for George (or any Dulles Triangle Board member) if you're a new person. He'll make sure you meet everyone! If you can't find George look for Linda with Equality Fairfax and she will do her best to introduce you around.

Town Hall Meeting- March 20

Join Equality Fairfax and Equality Virginia for a Town Hall Meeting to discuss the results of the the recently completed legislative session and where we go from here. Meeting goes from 7pm to 8:30pm.

Homeless Animal Rescue Team (HART) Adoption Event and Social Hour- March 24

Please join ef as we volunteer at the HART Adoption Event at the Burke Petco. HART is a no-kill animal rescue league based here in Fairfax. Each week, they host one or two adoption events for dogs and cats. Equality Fairfax has offered to provide volunteers for their three hour adoption event. You would be asked to handle a dog, and as people came to look, answer basic questions.

After the adoption event, we will go down the street to the Austin Grill for drinks and appetizers.
