The Laramie Project at GMU

Come see GMU's first annual production of "The Laramie Project", a play that tells the story of Matthew Shepard, a young man who was beaten, pistol-whipped, and left for dead -- for one reason: he was gay.

The show examines anti-hate speech, actions, and thoughts towards US minorities (particularly those of the LGBTQ community).

The play will be pefromed in GMU's Theatrespace

** An hour long-social is planned prior to opening night directly in theaterspace in which the audience may find out more ways on how they can involve themselves in anti-hate movements and efforts; Refreshments will be served!!!

Admission $5 - Student ID and $10 Community

All money will be donated to the Matthew Shepard Foundation
