GAME NIGHT
It's too cold to go out and play so come and play indoors with us. When was the last time you got into a competitive game of Scrabble? With the real estate market so expensive nowadays, the most affordable way to buy real estate is in Monopoly. Now is the time to put that trivia to use -- get a team together for Outburst. Looking for someone to play cribbage or backgammon? If none of these games interest you, then bring your favorite game and see who shares your interest.
The location is:
The Landing Community Center 6002 Cove Landing Rd. Burke, VA 22015Please RSVP at our Evite at Game Night Evite or to socials@equalityfairfax.org
Bring your favorite game, a friend, your favorite snack to share, and your favorite beverage (BYOB alcohol is allowed). Once folks have arrived and settled in, we will find a group to play with and go off and have some fun. Doors open at 7:00 pm and the games begin at 7:30 and end at 10:30. Late arrivals are welcome.

Review of February 24, 2007 Game Night
Equality Fairfax hosted a game night on February 24th, 2007. Being new to the Fairfax area and completely unfamiliar with Equality Fairfax, this event was an amazing welcome to both. The evening was a chance for anyone interested to bring their favorite games, snacks, beverages, and acquaintences for an evening of fun, food, and frivolity.
It's usually true that more is the merrier, as games go, and tonight's game night was no disappointment. With an attendance of about 20 gamers, there was a great variety of competition and coversation to keep the evening lively and fun. Between rounds of Scattergories, Taboo, and a new game that I will have to buy called "Apples to Apples", the evening passed by far too quickly. But, competitive urges and laughter aside, the best part of the evening was connecting with others and building a community. Hopefully it's an evening that will be repeated; if it does, you don't want to miss it!
