Possible Down Time Oct 30 - Nov 1

Our hosting provider is migrating our server to a new colocation facility. This could happen as early as October 30th but should be complete by November 1st. Because of this change, the IP address of our server will change. Because of the way DNS works, it may take some time for that change to propagate out to rest of the net. During that time, you may not be able to access the EF website. It's also possible that email to us may bounce (though in most cases, email servers will retry for a few days before they give up).

If you do see a problem and you know how to flush your DNS cache, that may help restore access more quickly (if your upstream DNS provider is up to date already), but in the worst case it should only take about 24 hours for the change to work its way through.

If you do experience a problem during this time window, it will resolve itself in a few hours to a day. If you can't access us after November 1st, then contact us via the EF voicemail to explain the problema and we'll try to help get it resolved. While we expect the actual downtime to be minimal, the nature of DNS means that many people will have a stale address for several hours.

We regreat the inconvenience and hope that actual downtime will be as short as possible.
