A New Look for EF

The EF website has a new look! Although we think this looks nicer than the last look for the site, the real reason for the change isn't simply fashion. It's to make it easier to find information on the site.

The top of the front page now shows up to three sections. On the left are the most recent blog entries. In order to keep timely information highlighted, if a blog entry is older than two weeks it won't show up here, even if there isn't anything newer.

The center section is new EF content such as stories, photos and podcast episodes. Again, if it isn't within the last two weeks it won't show up here.

The far right shows the next upcoming EF event.

Below that in the center section is a list of recently posted content followed by a list of recent comments.

The left sidebar holds links to newsletter and podcast subscription as well as the navigation menu. Other info may be posted in this sidebar based on where you are in the site.

The right sidebar shows a list of upcoming events as well as the search box. Again, other content may be displayed here depending on where you are on the site.

We hope you like this new look. It may receive some minor tweaks over time but we expect this will be the last major change to the site layour and look for some time. But, we do have some new site features coming in early November so keep an eye out for that!
