Equality Fairfax House of Delegates Forum 2007

These photos are from the Equality Fairfax House of Delegates Forum held on October 9, 2007 at the Greenbriar Community Center in Chantilly, Virginia.
The forum focused on races in the following districts: 34th ((McLean, Great Falls, parts of Vienna and Herndon)), 40th (Clifton, Fairfax Station, and parts of Centreville, Fairfax, & Burke), 67th (Chantilly, Fair Lakes, western Fairfax, parts of Centreville and the South Riding area of Loudoun County), and 86th (Herndon, Oak Hill and the Sterling Park area of Loudoun County).
The 34th is an open seat with the incumbent retiring and both candidates, Margaret Vanderhye and Dave Hunt attended.
In the 40th only the challenger, Rex Simmons attended. Delegate Hugo declined the invitation to attend.
In the 67th, only the incumbent, Delegate Caputo attended. The challenger, Marc Cadin declined the invitation to attend.
In the 86th, both the incumbent, Delegate Rust and the challenger, Jay Donahue attended.
The forum was well attended with nearly every seat filled. The room was full and there were probably around 60 people, perhaps a bit more there to listen to the candidates and also ask some questions of their own.
