God & Gays: Traditional Faiths with Contemporary Views

Many of us have had painful experiences in religious communities that did not embrace GLBT persons. Representatives from various religious traditions will discuss how they have come to affirm and welcome GLBT individuals, couples and families. Panel discussion followed by questions.

Learn about open churches in Alexandria and meet other people of faith who are searching for a supportive religious community. PFLAG-DC, Alexandria Gay & Lesbian Community Association and Hope United Church of Christ are co-sponsors of this program.
