Equality Fairfax Has a New Host

The initial result of this change should be transparent except that some of the intermittant problems the site has been experiencing should be eliminated. read more »
Mysteriously Duplicating Menus
Submitted by linda on December 21, 2006 - 2:03pm.For some reason, some of the menus on the site, particularly in the navigation menu have taken to spontaneously duplicating themselves. We're aware of the problem and are looking into the cause. In the meantime, if you see some extra menu items from time to time, please excuse the duplication. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.
Web Links Should be Working Again

Though the title and description were displaying properly, the site was not showing the URL to the site. This made them, well, less than useful. read more »
Intermittent Site Failures

It's possible that you may experience some much longer than normal page load times or even a message about not being able to contact the database server. read more »
New Contact Form for Website
Submitted by linda on November 30, 2006 - 10:14pm.The EF website now has a new contact us form. The new form allows you to direct your question according to subject. This should streamline the process of getting feedback back from us.
There was also some minor clean up of the site menus. A few of them had gotten a bit mangled during the site upgrade process.
As always, let us know if you experience any problems.
Major Website Upgrade Completed

Photo Gallery Updated
Submitted by linda on November 25, 2006 - 7:51pm.The photo gallery portion of our website has been updated. Although no changes in functionality should occur, if problems occur, please let us know.
website software updated to drupal 4.6.10
Submitted by linda on November 14, 2006 - 9:56pm.The content management system that provides most of the functionality of the EF website was updated to version 4.6.10 of drupal. No user visible changes should result from this change but, as with any software change, problems or unexpected differences could occur. If you do experience problems, please let us know.

The Bristol Herald Courier says that Ballot Question #1 is "redundant and unnecessary"! "Voters should think twice before tampering with these Constitutions to restrict freedom rather than to expand it. That's not the American way, nor is it a particularly conservative action."

Multiple Emails Accidentally Sent

A problem with our database server caused several instances of the email to get queued up without our realizing it. We think the problem is resolved and shouldn't happen again.
