Pet Adoption - Volunteer and Social - Saturday March 24th

Please join us as we volunteer at the Homeless Animal Rescue Team (HART) Adoption Event at the Burke Petco on Saturday March 24th from 12-3pm. HART is a no-kill animal rescue league based here in Fairfax. Each week, they host one or two adoption events for dogs and cats. Equality Fairfax has offered to provide volunteers for their three hour adoption event.  read more »

The Laramie Project at GMU

Equality Fairfax is happy to partner with George Mason University's Pride Alliance to promote GMU's first annual production of "The Laramie Project", a play that tells the story of Matthew Shepard, a young man who was beaten, pistol-whipped, and left for dead -- for one reason: he was gay.  read more »

Please join us as we volunteer at the HART Adoption Event at the Burke Petco. HART is a no-kill animal rescue league based here in Fairfax. Each week, they host one or two adoption events for dogs and cats. Equality Fairfax has offered to provide volunteers for their three hour adoption event. You would be asked to handle a dog, and as people came to look, answer basic questions.
