Lez Foodies Wine Tasting

Lez Foodies of Northern, VA, a group of self proclaimed lesbian "foodies," will hold a wine tasting at a Ballston area wine bar (Metro accessible) on Tuesday, December 2nd at 7:30pm.  The evening will include shared appetizers and selected wine tastings with the bar's sommelier. The cost for food, wine, tax and gratuity will be about $35 per person.  read more »

EVEF Anti-Violence Project Resources Available

Equality Virginia Education Fund’s Anti-Violence Project recently released its State of Violence in LGBTQ Communities Report. This marks the first time such an effort has been given to find out more about how violence is affecting our LGBTQ communities in Virginia. As part of an LGBTQ serving or supporting organization, we wanted to be certain you knew of the report and could access the valuable information contained within. We also crafted a resource guide that has been asked for by organizations serving LGBTQ communities. If you know of other organizations that should be included, please let us know so that we might update this guide with the best information possible.  read more »

Lesbian Foodies High Tea

LESBIAN FOODIES - a social group for lesbians in Northern Virginia who are self defined "foodies" that offers opportunities to meet up at area restaurants and NoVA foodie type events (cooking class, wine/beer tasting) is organizing a "high tea" on October 18th at a Fairfax cafe' for $25 (plus tax and gratuity).  read more »
